International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

Tongue-Tie Treatment
Infant Feeding Specialist

My Background

I trained as a Nurse at University College Hospital in London and worked in the National Health Service for many years.

Following the birth of my four children, including twins, I trained as a Nursery Nurse and worked with children with special needs. I have worked as a Maternity Nurse for 20 years.

In 2000 I qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and my work has taken me to many places worldwide helping mothers and babies in different countries.

More recently in 2005, I trained at Southampton General Hospital under the guidance of Mervyn Griffiths (Consultant Paediatric Surgeon) and Carolyn Wescott, to become a Specialist Practitioner to diagnose and treat Tongue-Ties.

In 2009 I completed a Post Graduate Diploma course in Psychanalytic Baby Observations at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic, through East London University.
